Hospice of Acadiana, Inc. is a United Way member agency and an affiliate of both the Louisiana-Mississippi Hospice & Palliative Care Organization and the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization. In December 1990, we were designated as an official point of light for community service by then president George Bush. In 1998, Hospice of Acadiana was chosen by the Better Business Bureau as the Outstanding Non-Profit Organization in Acadiana, and for the past ten years we have been selected as the Number One Volunteer Agency in Acadiana.
Hospice of Acadiana, Inc. was recently chosen by Acadiana to receive the honor of 'Best Non-Profit Agency' in the 2008 and 2009 Best of Acadiana Readers polls for the Times of Acadiana. We are truly honored and thankful to have the support and trust of the community of Acadiana.
