Hospice of Acadiana holds a steadfast commitment to honoring the men and women who have served our country. Our Veteran Care program is tailored to respect the unique needs of veterans, providing them with the dignity and acknowledgment they deserve.
Veteran Care
We understand that veterans may have special medical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs, and we are committed to giving them the support they deserve. Our We Honor Veterans Program is the only Level-5 Program in Acadiana, the highest designation any agency can achieve. This designation means we have demonstrated our commitment to improving care for veterans and their family members.
We Honor Veterans is an initiative of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs. This affiliation enables us to offer specialized programs for our veteran patients, including educational programs and support from veteran volunteers.
